Vintage 1965 Fritz Hansen Egg Chair. An iconic piece of Danish design by Arne Jacobsen since the 1950s when it was first introduced. With its organic curves, the Egg chair is instantly recognisable and will continue to be symbolic of great design; as beautiful as it is functional. Originally purchased in 1965 and held by the same family until recently. It has just been restored and expertly reupholstered in Kvadrat Coda wool fabric (90% wool, 10% nylon) colour 0962. Cast aluminium base stamped with manufacturer's mark. Retail price around $15,000 new but this chair is beyond compare as it is genuine vintage, restored like new. A real find!

Organising Own Delivery
To keep the process as smooth as possible for our sellers please note the following terms and conditions for buyers making their own arrangements to collect a purchased item:
- larger items must be collected by a two person team
- sellers are not required to assist
- items for collection will not be packed or wrapped
- risk passes to the buyer from the moment of pick-up

How we categorise condition of items
Items are categorised as follows:
Excellent condition:Â New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition:Â used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition:Â used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition:Â needs to be repaired to be able to be used
