Peter's Chair and Table are iconic children's furniture pieces designed by legendary Danish designer Hans J. Wegner in 1944. Created as a christening gift for a friend's son, these pieces double as both functional furniture and interactive, life-size wooden puzzles as they can be easily assembled without the use of tools. These pieces have remained cherished classics for children’s rooms and continue to offer the ultimate combination of carefully considered design and an engaging toy.
This set of one table and two chairs were purchased new in Amsterdam in 2013. Used as a much-loved art table, there are light signs of pencil and marker as shown in the photos. Selling as a set only.

Delivery Limitations
In order to provide a valid quote, buyers are obliged to inform us if access to deliver an item is restricted by a lift, stairs, narrow access, steep access, parking limitations, distance from truck parking to the door and so forth.
Organising Own Delivery
To keep the process as smooth as possible for our sellers please note the following terms and conditions for buyers making their own arrangements to collect a purchased item:
- larger items must be collected by a two person team
- sellers are not required to assist
- items for collection will not be packed or wrapped
- risk passes to the buyer from the moment of pick-up

How we categorise condition of items
Items are categorised as follows:
Excellent condition: New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition: used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition: used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition: needs to be repaired to be able to be used
