Kristalia Tenso Sofa (RRP $16,145)
The Kristalia Tenso brings the precision of Italian tensile engineering into balance with cloud-like comfort in the soft, inviting curves of the seating, providing an architectural centrepiece for any living space.
This sofa, in immaculate condition, features two wide seats (92cm and 110cm) and a built-in Pietro De Fossena designed tabletop in stone. The tabletop is seamlessly slotted into the steel frame and eliminates the clutter of extra coffee tables. A mechanical reclining headrest on one of the seats provides extra comfort for relaxing without compromising the sleek, low-profile Italian design profile.
The core of the Tenso is a light yet incredibly sturdy black lacquered tubular steel beam framework. Unlike heavy, bulky block sofas, the seats, backrests, and cushions attach directly to the frame under calculated tension. This creates a suspended, floating silhouette that maintains a sense of lightness.
While the steel undercarriage is precise and minimalist, the upper seating is generous, deep, and plush. The intentional contrast between the slim frame and pillow-like volume makes it highly inviting.
The fabric upholstery in Moss (Sahco) fabric and is removable for cleaning.
