Herman Miller Eames Soft Pad Chair
An iconic design by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, the Eames Soft Pad Chair is a benchmark of modernist comfort and refinement. Conceived as an evolution of the Aluminium Group, the Soft Pad Chair adds plush upholstered cushions while retaining the clean, architectural lines that define the design.
This example was manufactured in 2014 and features original leather upholstery with a light, even patina consistent with age. There are no tears or repairs, and the leather presents very well. The aluminium armrests show minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use, as shown in the photos. Overall, the chair is in very good condition.
The chair is fitted with pneumatic height adjustment, making it well suited to both executive office and refined home office environments, where comfort, ergonomics, and timeless design are equally important.

Delivery Limitations
In order to provide a valid quote, buyers are obliged to inform us if access to deliver an item is restricted by a lift, stairs, narrow access, steep access, parking limitations, distance from truck parking to the door and so forth.
Organising Own Delivery
To keep the process as smooth as possible for our sellers please note the following terms and conditions for buyers making their own arrangements to collect a purchased item:
- larger items must be collected by a two person team
- sellers are not required to assist
- items for collection will not be packed or wrapped
- risk passes to the buyer from the moment of pick-up

Items are categorised as follows:
Excellent condition: New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition: used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition: used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition: needs to be repaired to be able to be used
