Douglas Snelling Dining Chairs X 6

Regular price$1,150 Sale price$1,060

A set of six original dining chairs designed by Douglas Snelling in the early 1950's. Snelling’s furniture was made in various woods, mostly silver ash and Queensland maple, which were more readily available during Australia’s post-war austerity than other species. The standard cotton webbing colors initially were cyclamen, creole brown, catalina blue, and cactus green. Fawn was added in the early 1950s.
