Danish Teak Nutcracker & Bowl, c1970s

Regular price$800 Sale price$750

In the very rare larger size, this mid century to modern Danish nutcracker and bowl by Flemming Digsmed for Nissen is made of solid staved teak. The rounded corners and large scale of the set make this ensemble a fabulous accessory and addition to any interior looking to use natural tones with a nod to the 1970’s. Designed by Flemming Digsmed for Danish wood manufacturer Richard Nissen, Langaa. The nutcracker is made of steel with handles of solid teak. Not just a functional object for ‘nutters’ but also a sculptural 1970’s Danish design icon. Signed with stamp to the base.
