Cappellini Glide Sofa by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
The Cappellini Glide Sofa is a rare and extraordinary piece of furniture, as much as work of art as seating! Designed by the famous French designers the Bouroullec Brothers for Capellini in 2001, there are only a few around the world. Like an aeroplane wing, the planes seem to float above the ground, gliding above the surface. The sofa is meant to be seen at every angle like a sculpture. Despite this, like most of their work, it is also comfortable to recline and sit on.
This is in the original leather, black and red colour way. Please note there are many scratches to the surface due to a very uncivil cat by the original owners. Please see photos of scratch marks and some damage to edge piping. Price reflects these defects.

In order to provide a valid quote, buyers are obliged to inform us if access to deliver an item is restricted by a lift, stairs, narrow access, steep access, parking limitations, distance from truck parking to the door and so forth.
Organising Own Delivery
To keep the process as smooth as possible for our sellers please note the following terms and conditions for buyers making their own arrangements to collect a purchased item:
- larger items must be collected by a two person team
- sellers are not required to assist
- items for collection will not be packed or wrapped
- risk passes to the buyer from the moment of pick-up

How we categorise condition of items
Items are categorised as follows:
Excellent condition: New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition: used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition: used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition: needs to be repaired to be able to be used
