B&B Italia Baia sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio and Paolo Nava in 1970. An iconic piece from one of Italy’s most influential design partnerships, the Baia combines sculptural form with exceptional comfort. This is a large and highly versatile eight-piece set upholstered in a rich orange velvet that enhances the Baia’s sculptural seventies aesthetic. The configuration includes one module that converts to a sofa bed, supplied with a new mattress, which adds functional flexibility for guests or multi-use spaces.

The set is in great overall condition. There is a small chew mark on the piping of one seat, positioned within the crease so it is not visible when the piece is in use. Apart from this discreet imperfection, all modules are in excellent condition.

Excellent condition: New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition: used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition: used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition: needs to be repaired to be able to be used
