Antique Spanish Wedding Table dated 1772
Spanish Wedding Extension Table, with inlaid wood marking the date of manufacture as 1772. This unique and beautiful piece is in remarkably excellent condition for its age. It is believed to be walnut wood and has a deep lustre with dark and warm tones. The front side has panels which are carved with Acanthus leaf detail and a centre panel featuring a pair of winged cherubs. The carved legs are joined by a shaped H stretcher. An unusual feature of this table are the two extension leaves, still in working order, that tuck under the top and latch with iron hardware. The back side of the table is inlaid with the initials (DR and MH) and wedding date (1772) of the original owners. When fully extended the table is 2735mm, but ordinarily closed it is 1590mm long. Handed down within the family, the origin is unknown.

- larger items must be collected by a two person team
- sellers are not required to assist
- items for collection will not be packed or wrapped
- risk passes to the buyer from the moment of pick-up

Items are categorised as follows:
Excellent condition: New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition: used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition: used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition: needs to be repaired to be able to be used
